national night out - 2023
The Torrance Police Department and the Seaside Neighborhood Association invited all Seaside and District 5 residents to National Night Out, a community building event held by police departments across the nation. NNO is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Thank you to all who attended!

celebrate seaside - october, 2021
Thank you Seaside community for coming out to the Celebrate Seaside event! Special thanks to Sacha Bryant Mendivil and the South High Dance teams for putting on a great show, as well as The Torrance Theatre Company,The Rose Float Association, Seaside PTA, Heroes Park Beautification, the Refinery Action Alliance, the Buddy Bench Project, and our wonderful Business Partners, who without their generous support an event like this would be impossible. It was an honor to have elected City officials, George Chen, Aurelio Mattucci, Heidi Ashcraft, Cliff Numark and Jean Adelsman stop by to meet and greet the Seaside residents. Thank you to all who brought items and donated to Joseph's Gift. Our troops appreciate you! Please enjoy the Celebrate Seaside video and photos below.
