About the Award
Dear Seaside Neighbors,
The Seaside Neighborhood Association (SNA) is very excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for all residents and businesses located in the community, who wish to contribute to the SNA Scholarships. The scholarships will be given to deserving Seaside Neighborhood senior high school students to further their education, regardless of which school they are graduating from in June. Students can use the scholarship for any educational need, such as college tuition (4 year, 2 year, or trade school), books and supplies. We also request a personal statement from each applicant. Student’s parents must be members of the SNA to qualify for a scholarship, and students must have resided in Seaside for their Junior and Senior years, at a minimum.
The SNA scholarships are presented in honor of Tom Rische, who started the scholarship award many years ago. The Rische family continues to support our youth through their generous donations. Scholarships are given to individual SNA students based on a cumulative point system that includes; Academic Achievement, Letters of Recommendation, Community and School Involvement, Leadership, and Responsibilities and/or Family Need.
Your donation enables the SNA to not only continue to promote and invest in further education for our graduates, but also provides assistance to families wishing to send their children to college.
Please join us in this effort by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Seaside Neighborhood Association Scholarship Award. Last year we were able to present two scholarships based on the substantial donations given by our community members and businesses.
If you have any questions and would like more information about the scholarship, or would like to be involved on the Scholarship Committee, please contact us.

Thank you for investing in our local students!
Kind regards,
Seaside Neighborhood Association Scholarship Committee
